Bal, our Dispensing Optician, began his career in the UK and earned a Fellowship to the British College of Dispensing Opticians (FBDO) after completing his studies. He specialized in fitting low visual aids and contact lenses, while working for Carl Zeiss, where he completed the advanced spectacle lens design course.
With his extensive knowledge of lens materials, coatings, and designs, along with his attention to detail, Bal is well-qualified to dispense lenses that provide optimum cosmetic appearance, weight, and safety. He keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies and products to ensure that he delivers the best possible care to our patients.
Having worked for Theodore Hamblin Opticians, which had a Royal warrant providing services to the Royal household, Bal's passion for eyewear spans from frame styles to solving complex prescriptions. He brings over 30 years of diverse experience in the UK and Australian retail practices to EYEKONIC.
